In our culture, in the culture that Marshall invaded and raped, it was a culture where the scientific proof was the guarantee and the ground of any aspect of reality. But we are into morphing, into virtual reality. We are into every possible manipulation of the evidence, even historical, even socio-geographical evidence. Marshall himself made the point beautifully when he said, “I wouldn’t have seen it, if I hadn’t believed it.”
